| Okay, so my engine is basically done, and my mechanic says to upgrade the turbos. I dont really want a crazy HP car, because it will probably end up as my daily driver...but whatever.. lol Now I have stocks, that were rebuilt to T28 status. Whatever that means. I know nothing about turbos, and not much more about cars in general. This is what we just did to my engine... Port and polish

Apexi Boost Cont. That's about it that I know of.... With that said... What kind of turbos should I go with? I think I'd be happy with 400-500 hp. He first recommended me getting the Godspeed turbos on eBay. Now he found some other Garrett ones for $1400 They have been UPGRADED to GT-28RS Disco Potato 62 Trim (47.19mm inducers & 60.1mm exducer compressors). The exhaust side upgrade uses the Giant T28 76 Trim turbine wheels (52.7mm inducers & 46.12mm exducers) with all the trick machine work, special balancing blue printing and a 360 deg. thrust bearing I've also seen some turbos in the classified for $1500-2000. I dont really want to spend more than $1500....but....I dont want to blow up my car either. No point in doing all this work and then my turbos failing on me or not having any power. So....any help would be appreciated. I will probably always use regular pump fuel. Premium. Not planning on dragging it or taking it to the track. Just want a fast car on the street to burn up some ricers once in a while. Hope that helps. Thanks!
